The Danish company Flexofold ApS<\/a> was established in 1992. With over 25 years of dedicated work, Flexofold is now one of the most experienced and largest manufacturers of folding propellers for sailboats. <\/p>\n
Since December 2017, Flexofold has been owned by the engine manufacturer Yanmar Marine<\/a>.<\/p>\n
All Flexofold propellers are manufactured in Denmark in a factory equipped with modern CNC equipment and robotic technology.<\/p>\n
Thanks to a flexible production organization, it is possible to manufacture and ship worldwide within a few days.

The first Flexofold propeller was manufactured in 1993 and was quickly recognized as a high-quality product. In constant search of improvement and performance, Flexofold introduced a new blade shape in 1997. <\/p>\n
The wider blade design and mass redistribution improved forward and reverse performance. The same year, a three-blade model was introduced using similar design parameters. <\/p>\n
In 1998, a Racing propeller with even lower drag was introduced. This was quickly adopted on boats like the Farr 40 where absolute minimum drag and good performance under power are required. <\/p>\n
In 2008, three new 4-blade propellers were added to the product range.<\/p>\n
In 2016, the 2-blade composite propeller was introduced.<\/p>\n
Thanks to their focus on their initial goal of designing and selling the best folding propellers for sailboats at competitive prices, Flexofold is now used as original equipment by a growing number of shipyards, including Beneteau, Dehler, Elan, Grand Soleil, Hanse, J-Boats, Mal\u00f6, Najad, Swan, X-Yachts...<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
