The spherical fender, also called a ball fender, is used as a hand held fender during maneuvers but also to protect the stern and sometimes the bow of boats, depending on its shape.
The FENDERTEX® spherical textile fender is used on boats over 60 feet.
It offers ultra-high performance protection. Lightweight, easy to handle, and provides optimal space savings when deflated.
All FENDERTEX® textile fenders are solution-dyed and constructed using a patented technique with a durable material that leaves no marks on the hull.
Textile:
- 100% high and low tenacity polyester yarn, solution-dyed.
- Tubular knit construction
- Capable of managing air volume variations due to temperature changes
- Cross-stitched double suspension straps, 100% polyester
- Strap on lower section made of polyester
- Stainless steel D-rings
Polyurethane Inner Tube:
- Polyurethane
- 500% elasticity
- Suitable for marine environment
- High-frequency welded
- Quick-release valve
The polyurethane inner tube is independent of the textile section to allow replacement in case of puncture
Attachment:
- Suspension made of two 100% polyester straps
- Stainless steel D-rings at top
- Polyester strap at bottom

Low-stretch technical textile at the ends to compensate for air volume increase caused by high temperatures maintains constant pressure of approximately 5.1 psi (350 mbh)
Ring for horizontal use (Long side)
Highly elastic inner tube, water can be added to serve as ballast for the fender.
Technical polyester textile with high abrasion resistance. Does not absorb salt, preventing micro-scratches on the hull. Easy to clean with water or in a standard washing machine.
Retention strap to prevent collar deformation during compression
Inflatable suspension collar with a maximum capacity of 1.5 tons vertical tension.
Cross-stitched suspension strap for added strength
316 stainless steel D-ring
UV Resistance Yarn is solution-dyed for optimal UV resistance. |
