Protect your Max-Prop propeller with a properly fitted anode. Always ensure your anode is in good condition. They must be replaced at least once a year. Our Max-Prop anodes feature a steel ring embedded in the zinc with 6 mounting holes drilled through it.

Help protect your Max-Prop with a zinc anode. Always ensure your anodes are in good condition. They must be replaced at least once a year. The Max-Prop anode features a metal ring molded into it. This metal ring runs around the entire diameter where the screws attach the anode to the propeller. This ring distributes electrical current throughout the entire anode, giving it a much longer service life. Even with the metal ring, Seaview Progress recommends cleaning the flat surface and back of the propeller when installing the anode to ensure good contact between the anode and propeller. This will significantly increase the anode's service life. It's always a good idea to have spare zinc anodes on hand—you never know when you'll need them.
